Our Mission
The Eclectic is a social enterprise and co-op space that empowers low-income and BIPOC/LGBTQQIA+ communities by providing affordable access to creative workspace, education, and professional development in the beauty and arts industries.
Our mission is to nurture an authentic and environmentally sustainable community for BIPOC/LGBTQQIA+ creatives that strives for economic independence and artistic expression.
The Vision
Our vision is to create a space that will help build careers in the beauty and creative industries that is an authentic and inclusive space where artistic expression, entrepreneurship, environmentally sustainability, and BIPOC/LGBTQQIA+ representation thrives. The space that we develop through this vision will help to build the foundation that will allow us to invest in the community and initiate a flourishing economic ecosystem.
What We Do
As a social enterprise co-op who specializes in the beauty and creative arts industry, we provide a space and many other resources for local BIPOC and LGBTQQIA+ beauticians and creatives to launch and enhance their beauty or creative career.
24/7 Access to Space
Once you become a member of The Eclectic, you will gain access 24/7 to the space. Our space is designed to give all members a space to perform their respective services and/or art.
Free Resources
Our Resource Hub is our way of being sustainable as well as giving back to our community. Members will have the chance to share and borrow materials and resources from other professionals if they are in need of a tool or product.
Startup Launchpad
We aim towards helping local and emerging artists in Minnesota. Therefore, we provide our platform in any capacity to help you launch your dream business without taking any profits. Once you are ready to set off on your own, The Eclectic will help to send you off into the world.

Become a Member
​We offer a variety of membership levels for our co-op. Each level provides different incentives depending on which one you register for. Take a look and see which one would suit you best as a beautician and creative. ​​

Daily Pass: $25 for a full day

Access to shared work spaces, facilities, and amenities

Basic Membership: $80 to $150/month (sliding scale)

24/7 access to space (all co-op spaces, tools, and amenities available for use)

Book any private space a month in advance, first-come-first-serve basis

Renewal option of 3, 6, or 12 months

Members pay the full amount of membership fee if contract is broken

Renter Membership: $350 to $650 (sliding scale)

Upon contract signing, one’s month payment of rent/membership fee is due via a secured emailed invoice

24/7 access to space (all co-op spaces, tools, and amenities available for use)

All members are automatically renters. Lease and membership time frame terms will reflect one another.
